Lessons on how NOT to pack a sewing machine!

        This is the Household fiddlebase sewing machine I bought on ebay that was literally thrown in a box and mailed!!!   I had to pick this box up from the bottom, and hold it tightly to keep the machine from falling through the bottom of the box. The total packing material was one newspaper wadded up in the bottom of the box.   How it made it to my post office still in the box is a mystery to me. Even more of a mystery is that the only damage that was sustained was the thread holder ending up bent.   It did break off the machine after the photos were taken.
